I LOVE short stories, and Brenda is one of my favorite romance novelists, so this was right up my alley. Brenda Margriet's characters are always so richly developed, and she always does a fabulous job of incorporating setting and atmosphere into her stories. I found this short story to be just as compelling as her novels, and it's just the right length--she ends it on the perfect note. I especially enjoyed the little twist towards the end. I highly recommend this story and her full-length novels as well! She's an author to keep an eye on. :-)

This is a short story that many married couples can relate to, even if they haven't had to deal with infidelity. It's well written and I'd love to see it turned into a full length book.
This was a wonderful story full of hope. While the ending was not a complete surprise, it was very satisfying!
This is a very short story but saying that I loved it. Married , cheating and sexy.
Good short hopeful love story. I don't know if I could've done what she did though.
I have to say that although the story was short I thoroughly enjoyed it. When a woman stands at a crossroads of her life she must choose a path. One way leads to a new existence, the other to redemption. The scenario intrigued me and the twist at the end made me want to shout yes!
This was a dramatic, sexy quick read, with a nice little twist at the end. A woman who's husband cheats on her, looks at her options for the next step. Is it time for a little payback?
